Eye opener #2 for my trip to Daytona Beach…women over 40 should meet men in person only.
Yeah, forget the Internet or any fix-up or any service where a woman’s age, real or imagined, is openly stated. According to several women I talked to, men will not show any interest in a woman over 40 without meeting her and will not meet her if she’s over 40, unless he’s well past 50.
The best way to ensure a romantic liaison with a man in his 30’s or 40’s—or even his 20’s!—is to meet him in person. If he knows before the meeting that the woman is 40, he’ll run away. Why? Because he really doesn’t know what 40 looks like. Even when he’s talking to a woman in her mid-40’s, he’ll often think she’s closer to
35 or a more “suitable” age to what he thinks he likes.
“You have to meet them in person,” one woman tells me, “and they’ll fall in love with you. Then later, when age comes up, they’ll already be in love with you before they know you’re older than them.”
At this conference, I got a chance to see that for my- self, and it made perfect sense.
