Threshold Days: Springing into a Bright Future with the Vernal Equinox

Happy Spring! Today is a great time to make plans. It’s a threshold day.

I mean TODAY, not any “today.” TODAY, this afternoon and evening in particular. Whether you have plans for a ritual celebration or don’t even bother to note the date on the calendar, TODAY is important to manifesting your future. Literally, this day.

Astrologically and symbolically, this is the last day of Winter, crossing over (here in Florida’s Central time zone) after midnight into Spring when the Sun enters the sign of Aries, the marker for the season. These last hours of Winter are important for visualizing how you want your future to look because what’s set in motion today will take on a life of its own by summer.

I set many intentions for the year back in the first hours of the Winter Solstice, the first degree of Capricorn, and I’ve been amazed at how many have already come to pass or are cheerfully and visibly moving in that direction in only three months.

So set those intentions, dream your future, burn a candle, sit down and draw out your blueprint of how you want your life to look, or take a long walk and just let yourself imagine. Spend some time tonight enjoying and reveling in the best you can imagine life to be for you. Do NOT spend this evening worrying about money, arguing over nothing, dwelling on anger or negativity. Spend a little time thinking about your heartiest fondest wishes and when you find yourself smiling, you’ll know you’re on the right track.
