The Provisional New 7 Wonders of Nature: A Bucket List of Travel

The Provisional New 7 Wonders of Nature: A Bucket List of Travel

The New 7 Wonders of Nature have been tentatively announced after the first count of votes on 11/11/11, though the final 7 may differ once the votes are confirmed.  Being the Nature Girl that I am and finding wonders in everything in nature, I was intrigued by the idea of what 7 places in Nature could overwhelm the rest.

The 28 finalists were full of underground rivers, forests, odd rock formations, mountains, volcanoes, canyons, waterfalls, and more.  Of the 28, I’ve flown over 1 many times but never have seen if with my boots on the ground.  I’ve been close to another but ended up in Perth and Gaspe’ instead.

I’ve noted people arguing online over which Wonder is truly wondrous and whether another beautiful spot deserves to be in the top 7 or not.  That, to me, is the wrong way to look at it.

The right way?  Hey, the website and its YouTube channel give us footage of and info on 28 amazing sites.  Instead of complaining about certain sites not making the projected winning 7 Wonders list, I’m turning those 28 locations into a travel bucket list.

Here’s one of my favs.  How about yours?
