A year ago today, with sunset impending.
Shannon says I remind her of the calendar because I remember past calendar dates and very, very specific times and am so attuned to them. Well, of course. It’s how I manage my world and stay on track. It’s the tool that I drive and that sometimes drives me.
But a year ago today….
Gods.
A year ago this morning, I was so excited, anxious, nervous. And totally, unexpectedly, head over heels, crazy in love.
A year ago tonight, I was devastated.
But for as crushed as I was, I know it was far worse for him. Sometimes, timing really, really sucks.
