My muse has stirred. She’s filled with the most unusual daydreams today, reminders of rituals performed and aid sent at the request of good friends, and she’s urging me to write songs that, on this Full Moon night, I have no music to. Yet. But I will….
“A Witch If You Want”
Your nights were black, and hearts were cold, And you called upon your Gods.
To send an angel to make you whole,
But you got the Queen of Rods.
I still regard my solemn oath
A promise I made to you,
To lend my aid to help you flow
When you doubt you’ll make it through. The World still waits for you,
And I’m sworn to help you through. Call me a witch if you want,
But I’m your personal angel.
I covered you in a cloak of light, And answered every prayer.
You looked away from all delights
And never knew I was there.
I am still here, I have not gone, And if you can feel me now,
I have been with you all along, Because I’ve kept my vow.
The World still waits for you,
And I’m sworn to help you through. Call me a witch if you want,
But I’m your personal angel.
Call me a witch if you want, But I’m your personal angel.
