Mine for Now, Orbs and All

I have no idea how long I’m to be in this house before hurricanes drive me out, my job goes away, or I just get too painfully tired of my more repairs that must be done, but  for  while  I’m  here,  it’s  my sanctuary.  For  all  the things that need replacing and repairing, I’m not making them over in boring white walls and tan carpet with the hopes that one day, someone else will like it. Instead, I’m making it mine for now, the way I like it.

The Long-Awaited Honest-to-God Secret to Being Happy

No candles burning,  no fire in fireplace  tonight, no

company tonight, but very peaceful.

Oddly enough, there’s an orbish kind of thing in the first photo below, right where Granddaddy used to hang out to watch over us. Then again, it could be residual energy from The Treat’s chakra session there. Hmmm, ideas welcome. It didn’t show in any other photo from this angle, wasn’t a reflection, can’t be seen just standing there and looking, isn’t  humidity (windows were up and it’s a lovely cool-ish night, isn’t a camera smudge, isn’t from an unseen light source. Total surprise to me to see it on the pic.

But probably shouldn’t have been. If it weren’t so late, I’d meander through the house and take more pics.

On second  thought,  maybe  I  will.  Let’s  see  if  my threshold guardians are on-duty tonight.
