LightningSeed Publishing  LLC, including its websites, TheSpiritualEclectic.com and AgileAcquisition.com, is committed to protecting your privacy and security.

The practices that dictate how we collect, store, share, and process your personally identifiable information is listed below.

1. How and Why We Collect Information

We use personal information for the purposes of:

  • presenting our website and its contents to you
  • providing you with information
  • providing you with offers for products and services
  • carrying out any contract between you and LightningSeed Publishing, LLC, including with Lorna Tedder
  • administering our business activities
  • providing customer service
  • making available other items and services to our customers and prospective customers

Affiliate Transactions: We do not currently provide affiliate products or services and do not share your information with third parties to promote their products.

GDPR Compliance: LightningSeed Publishing LLC protects your data in accordance with GDPR, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation.

2. User Data and Personally Identifiable Information

User Accounts:  We do not currently offer user accounts.

Passwords: We do not currently offer user accounts

Personally Identifiable Information: The only personally identifiable information that is stored on our host’s servers includes whatever required data and data a visitor wishes to provide, to include the visitor’s first name, last name, email address, IP address, website name/url, comments, and contact form message data.

Email: All email messages and contact form messages sent via our websites are stored on our host’s servers for the purposes of customer service and transcation records. Due to occasional cyberthreats over the life of our Internet presence, we keep any threatening messages and related information including IP addresses indefinitely in case we need to provide these as evidence to law enforcement or attorneys.

3. Secure Financial Data

LightningSeed Publishing  LLC does not currently collect data through financial gateways. No transactions originate from our websites and no financial data is stored on our servers. Any purchases of products flow through the book distributor of the buyer’s choice–we simply provide a link to stores that carry our books.

We also do NOT have access to sensitive customer financial data (e.g. full 16-digit credit card numbers, CVV codes, etc.), as that data is stored securely on the servers of our third party providers for the sole purpose of completing a transaction (such as books bought at Amazon or iBooks).

We do not currently collect and store any details of any a third-party transaction.

4. Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles on these sites may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

5. How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue (not currently accepting comments), so we can followup on any requests for information or otherwise better respond to your comment to provide better service, and to provide to law enforcement and legal counsel in the case of threats or harassment.

6. Right to Access, Correct, or Delete Your Data

In accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), all individuals within the European Union have the right to request to view, correct, and/or delete their personal data from my website.

Most personally identifiable information stored on our sites may be deleted, excluding transaction records for tax purposes, and all email or contact form messages that have been sent via email, to include any threatening or harassing messages that may be turned over the law enforcement or legal counsel.

Even if you do not reside in the EU, you can request to view, correct, and/or delete your information stored on via our websites.

Website comments and contact from messages are stored permenently on our host’s servers. You can request to view, correct, or delete this data by using our Contact page.

7. Right to Unsubscribe From Emails

You have the right to unsubscribe from all email messages from LightningSeed Publishing, LLC,  The Spiritual Eclectic, the Lorna Letter, or any  including newsletters, promotions, announcements, and other updates.

You can easily unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking the relevant link at the bottom of the email message.  If you have subscribed to an RSS feed on one of our websites so you can receive our blog posts as they are published, you can unsubscribe from the RSS feed(s) by clicking unsubscribe on the bottom of the email.  These RSS feed subscriptions are for your convenience via website widget and are not part of our newsletter/mailing list program.

The right to unsubscribe does not pertain to transactional emails, such as receipts, transaction records, login information sent when signing up for a new service (if applicable), or other legally required messages.

We periodically delete email addresses from MailChimp our Email Service Provider, when users are no longer subscribed to any newsletters, have not opened an email in more than 90 days, or have an email address that is undeliverable.

8. Additional Rights

In accordance with GDPR, members of the European Union have the following rights:

  • The right to be informed about what we are doing with your data through privacy notices (which is what you are reading now)
  • The right to access a copy of the data we hold about you
  • The right to correct any data that we hold about you
  • The right to erasure, meaning the right to request deletion of certain kinds of data we hold about you
  • The right to restrict processing, or the right to ask us to stop using your data in certain ways
  • The right to data portability, or the right to take the data we hold about you to another service provider (this right will likely not apply to our business as we do not store data typically used for this purpose)
  • The right to object to our uses of your data
  • The right to file a complaint with a local Supervisory Authority such as the EDPS

9. Cookies!

When you use our websites, we or our authorized technology services providers, may also collect certain technical and routing information from you to facilitate your use of the site and its services.

We use this information to administer our websites and to understand and measure traffic patterns on the site. This helps us know which areas of the site are the favorites of our users, which areas need improvement, and what technologies are being used so that we may continually improve the site. For example, if we see that 90% of our visitors prefer using mobile devices, then we will focus on improving our website to make it friendlier to mobile devices.

This information is collected in anonymized aggregate form on Google Analytics, without identifying you or any user individually. We may use this aggregate, non-identifying statistical data for statistical analysis, marketing, or similar promotional purposes.

This data is often tracked by us or our technology services providers by using “cookies” during your visit. A cookie is a small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. It functions as your identification card and enables us to record your passwords, purchases, and preferences. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses.

Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it. (For some pages that require an authorization, cookies are not optional. Users choosing not to accept cookies will probably not be able to access those pages.)

10. Outside Sites

Privacy Policies from outside sites may be different from this one. Our websites occasionally contain links to other websites that may offer products or services that you might find useful and these sites may request information from you.

In such instances, the collection and use of your personal information will be governed by the Privacy Policy applicable to that site. We do not control the Privacy Policies, contents, or links that appear on those sites, and we encourage you to review the Privacy Policies of any third party sites or services before providing any of them with your personally identifiable information.

11. International Transfer

Your information, including Personally Identifiable Information, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the information, including Personally Identifiable Information, to the United States and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy, followed by your submission of such information, represents your agreement to that transfer.

12. We Do Not Share Your Data Without Your Permission

Users stored data, including personally identifiable information, is never sold or shared to third parties for any reason other than securely completing a transaction or storing necessary data for product or service delivery, if applicable.

LightningSeed Publishing, LLC works with partners and service providers who protect user data and comply with GDPR, including  our hosting service (website access).

We only collect the minimum user data needed to process a transaction, answer any comment, or provide you information via our newsletter.

13. Website Security

Our websites implement many modern security measures to ensure your data travels safely from one location to another.

14. Children Under The Age Of 13

None of our websites are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any information to or on the website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this site or on or through any of its features/register on the site, make any purchases through the site, use any of the interactive or public comment features of this site or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use.

If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us via our Contact page.

15. Exceptions to the Privacy Policy

While we are committed to keeping your information secure and private, we have the following exceptions to our Privacy Policy: we will release specific information about you or your account to comply with any valid legal inquiry or process such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute or court order.

We will also release specific information in special cases, such as if there is an attempted breach of the security of the site, or a physical or property threat to you or others.

We may also transfer user information, including personally identifiable information, in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, the sale of related assets or corporate division, or another fundamental corporate change.

16. Enforceability

The terms in this Privacy Policy will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity that arises out of or relates to these terms will be subject to mediation in the State of Florida.

If any of these terms are found unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision will be considered severable from the remaining terms, and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These terms may be modified only by posting of changes to this Privacy Policy.

17. Updates to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy will be reviewed and updated, as needed, on an annual basis. The date of the latest update will be displayed at the top of this page.
