The New 7 Wonders of Nature have been tentatively announced after the first count of votes on 11/11/11, though the final 7 may differ once the votes are confirmed. Being the Nature Girl that I am and finding wonders in everything in nature, I was intrigued by the idea of what 7 places in Nature could overwhelm the rest.

The 28 finalists were full of underground rivers, forests, odd rock formations, mountains, volcanoes, canyons, waterfalls, and more. Of the 28, I’ve flown over 1 many times but never have seen if with my boots on the ground. I’ve been close to another but ended up in Perth and Gaspe’ instead.

I’ve noted people arguing online over which Wonder is truly wondrous and whether another beautiful spot deserves to be in the top 7 or not. That, to me, is the wrong way to look at it.

The right way? Hey, the website and its YouTube channel give us footage of and info on 28 amazing sites. Instead of complaining about certain sites not making the projected winning 7 Wonders list, I’m turning those 28 locations into a travel bucket list.

Here’s one of my favs. How about yours?

Of course, people re-arrange rooms when a relationship breaks up or a child leaves home…or a relationship solidifies into shared space or a new addition is welcomed into the family! Spaces fill up with energy, usually the energy of the person who occupied it or with the energy of events that occurred there.

I have spent the last 7 years that I’ve been divorced reclaiming the sacred space of my home, painting the walls in bright colors, decorating in exclusively my style, making my home a complete reflection of me. There is none of the energy left here that was here when I was married to him, and honestly, very few memories. It’s like those memories took place in a different home…and it was a very different home then. As happens with many newly-separated women, the first change I made in the house was to redecorate my own bedroom, to change it into something very light and cozy and romantic and as different as possible from what it had been for the previous ten years. It was several months later, after admiring my new bedroom, that I read that this is so terribly common (drat! I’m common!) because bedrooms are usually where the most emotional attachments are found and what needs to be paved over with something less jagged.

As I write this, I am dealing with an empty nest. My youngest has left home, and it’s strange not to have her energy in this space. But I now understand the connection between energy and space in a very different way. The best coping tool for me in my newly empty house has been to work on clearing out her room and starting to redecorate it. It’s truly that I am moving energy around, clearing out what’s stagnant and scattering my daughter’s buoyant energy throughout the entire house as I reclaim the space she left behind. I understand now why so many moms recreate their grown children’s rooms and why there’s either an urgency to remake the rooms or to encase them in carbonite as a shrine to their children’s dependence on them in their mommy years.

It took over two years to reclaim her older sister’s room. For a long time, I wasn’t sure what I’d turn it into–a sewing room, a dungeon for 25-year-old boys, a reading room, a huge closet, whatever. I had a vision of the type of room it would be if I went more traditional (traditional in use, not colors) for a couple of years but it still took a while. Last fall, I finally made the changes and spent my painting/menial labor days listening to all three books of the HUNGER GAMES series. I can still walk into the room now and immediately feel the energy of my emotions from listening to THE HUNGER GAMES. For me, the room is a mix of my own creative and emotional energy of the re-decorating phase as well as an occasional old memory, such as sitting at the sewing machine in there when Shannon was 7 and napping after her tonsillectomy while I stayed home with her. It still carries Shannon’s energy–as a child, a teen, and now as a houseguest when she’s home. It also has the energy of various visitors who’ve stayed there since it became my guest room.

I’ve definitely put my energy into the house, as well as the energy of what was going on in my life at the time. I still connect my refurbished garage with the audiobook of that weekend, THE PHYSICK BOOK OF DELIVERANCE DANE. My dining room sometimes carries a sad energy for me. My boyfriend of that era had just left town, and I was listening to the second Twilight novel, NEW MOON, where Bella is feeling lost without her creepy guy. That was just tooooo close to home.

But shifting the home energies around isn’t always about sadness or loss. I’m enjoying watching several friends prepare for their new babies, mostly first babies. It reminds me of the beginning of this cycle when I was creating my first “Baby’s Room.” There was all the excitement of preparing a new space full of emotion and promise. Dreams had not yet been lived in those rooms, but they were being prepared for the dream, for the manifestation of a wonderful and happy future.

That’s how I look now at the shift of energies in my home. They’re not about the loss of how things once were but about the promise of how they will be, the possibilities of someone new coming into my home and building emotional castles with me.

I have two ley lines in my house, and they are strong streams of energy that are very different. In addition, I have a few “power spots” that feel like pools of energy.

The more I learn about these ley lines, the more questions I have, such as:

- Do all ley lines move?

- What causes ley lines to move?

- Are the ley lines here first or do we create or move them to where we put our energy, such as at sacred sites or altars?

- What are the qualities of a ley line that spirals? Is it a vortex?

- Are ley lines for different purposes?

- Can I map the ley lines in my house?

The Power Spot: The Sweet Spot of Serenity and Sacred Space

The first power spot in my house was evident to me within a month of moving into this house, back in 1993. I wasn’t comfortable in the house—it was too big and still had too much of the previous owners’ energy from their divorce and drama. I had grown up in an exceptionally modest home and was not accustomed to such a nice dwelling, even though we’d gotten a great deal on it. The house was so big that at least a half of it was closed off and had little or no furniture for several years.

Still, there were a couple of places in the house that felt…good. Serene. The first I noticed was the strongest, and it was in the heart of the house.

We had bought an old, recovered sofa for $50 and in the natural arranging of the living room, the sofa ended up in that sweet spot. If I felt bad, I could curl up on that sofa and feel great. If I felt tired, I could nap for 20 minutes on that sofa and feel rejuvenated. When I replaced the dilapidated sofa in 2003, the energy was still there. Later, around 2005, I re-arranged the room and felt compelled to move my main altar—or sacred spot—to that exact spot.

dd

It’s funny to see how houseguests respond to these energy spots in my house. With the first power spot, I often have people sit—just SIT—on the floor in front of the spot (since the altar is on the spot itself but the feel-good energy expands out to the East of it now). As big as the house is, when a guest visits and brings a pet, that pet will leave the rest of us and go lie down in that sweet spot for the duration of the visit. The same is true of small children. Everyone is drawn to that spot and they always feel serene and safe there. (continued in Part 2)

Whenever I’ve visited a place I consider sacred ground, I must both approach and leave it in a respectful way. Otherwise, I have a hard time absorbing the specialness of it and an even harder time breaking loose from it.

I first discovered that I needed a technique for getting the most out of such sites back in 2008. I was attending a large festival that included some sacred spots. The group hosting the festival conducted both an opening and closing ritual, and I arrived too late and left too early.

After attending this festival for several years, I noticed a difference when I did not attend the seemingly minor rituals that connected me to the place and then helped me disconnect. I never even realized that aspect. I’d thought the opening ritual was just to give me the list of rules for being onsite and the closing ritual was merely a way of thanking the few remaining participants for their hard work.

Without the opening ritual, I found I had a hard time settling into the spot. I was cranky. Instead of being excited at being there and having a great time, it took me a full day to feel at home and start to connect with the holiness of the place. Upon leaving, I spent several very cranky days before I seemed to disconnect from where I’d been.

The next time I attended the festival, I knew I’d miss the opening and closing rituals so I developed a little technique that helps me to get the most out of any ritual area, spiritual festival, or even a historical monument (and yes, I really wish I’d done this when I left Gettysburg with all its extreme empathic energy blasts).

When I first arrive at a spot, as soon as I can, I walk the perimeter. Barefoot. Preferably in a clockwise circle or direction. As I walk, I contemplate the physical and metaphysical properties of the place. If I feel that there are unseen beings or guardians there, I try to give them respect and present myself as a visitor of honor and one who is honored to enjoy this place. I am able to connect quickly and find pleasure in the being there at a very deep spiritual level.

Upon leaving, I walk the perimeter in reverse, barefoot. I contemplate with humility the place I have experienced spiritually. I bid it good-bye, with gratitude for the experience. I’m able to walk away gently as I disconnect.

I love the little birdhouses and the noisy baby birds that I can always hear from the living room when the windows are up.

The only bad thing about the birdhouses is that the ones that aren’t claimed by birds are sometimes claimed by wasps. Not usually a problem until…I get a hurricane warning after the birdlings have fledged, and all the birdhouses have to come down-including the ones with wasp nests!

2. Jasmine incense. True, my house smells like a Tibetan monastery half the time but the other half, it smells of roses or jasmine. I’m a huge fan of incense, especially Dragon’s Blood, jasmine, frankincense, roses, nag champa, and sandalwood.

This is a photo Aislinn took in front of a wall in the kitchen where we were burning huge sticks of incense.

3. There’s little more sacred to me than being able to feel the Earth under my feet, whether it’s stone, sand, wood, or grass. Whenever I take a walk around a park or through the woods near my house, neighbors stop and ask, “How can you go barefoot out here?” My answer is always the same: “How can you NOT?”

4. Other people have candy jars full of candy. Not me. If I must take vitamins and various good-for-me supplements, then they go into my crystal biscuit jar…a long-ago gift from in-laws that I have no idea what to do with. Rather than be stashed in a cabinet, collecting dust, this one offers me calcium wafers that look like giant Sweet-Tarts.

5. I love the shade on my patio, especially in Spring. It’s the same with moonshine as with sunshine, that dappled effect through the young oaks around the patio. About a decade ago, I wanted many more trees in my yard, particularly the kind that weren’t pines. Like…oaks.

I had a bunch of little oaks coming up around the yard, thanks to birds. Most were about 6-9 inches tall. I transplanted them into black plastic gardening buckets and for a year or so, I moved them around the yard in circles, creating my own sacred grove of trees.

Eventually, they ended up in particular spots, took permanent root there and now shade the back of the house.

I will soon need to thin them, and at that time, the ones that makes room for the rest will become either oak staff or wand.

I have a spare bedroom I’m painting and refurbishing so that it’ll make a beautiful guest room when my daughter is home from college or has friends over. I didn’t finish it earlier in the year when I was too busy, but I’ve had plenty of time to wrap things up in the last two weeks. I haven’t. I know better.

I’ve been avoiding putting any of my creative energy into this room for one reason: someone did something extremely hurtful to my daughter and me a couple of weeks ago and I know that all that anger and hurt would just go right into my creation. And anyone sleeping in that room would feel the angry energy bouncing off the walls.

I’ve been very picky about who I’ve gotten to help me with refurbishing my house and yards. Captain Earl has done wonders for my gardens and lawn, and it’s a sweet energy there when I walk around the outside of the my house. He’s helped with my indoor creations, too, including my home office, to create a beautiful serene, lovely place for me to create and work. When Justin was here with me, he helped me “build castles” out of my home, doing all sorts of chores and handyman jobs enthusiastically, and helping me design my rope-lighted patio. With Todd, he commented often on all the things in my house that he appreciated, though he wasn’t part of building this serene place where I live.

I’ve long understood that what you put into a creation is energy and that energy stays with it. I saw this with the clothes my mom made for me while I was growing up and with the clothes she made for my daughters. Every stitch made with love–and putting a little part of herself into every stitch. The girls always told me how loved and safe they felt in dresses Grandma had made them.

So my guest room with the planned teal and tan paint, the bamboo curtain rods, the wood blinds, and the walls hangings will wait a little while longer. My serenity is returning after a terrible upset, and when I’m sure that all I’m broadcasting is love and peace, that’s what I’ll put into this room.

I’m excited. But honestly, I think everything should be exciting. I think that if you don’t feel excited about your work, your hobbies, or the person you’re with, then you should turn your attention to something or someone you can feel passionate about.

I’ve just added a few creative passions back into my life after a long absence. One is the jewelry-making that Daughter #1 (Shannon) and I used to do that I set aside when I had eye problems that I no longer have. The other is a matter of bonding with Daughter #2 (Aislinn) over her sideline as a portrait photographer and returning to my old passion for nature photography. Both are fun, creative pleasures I can share with my kids, and I probably would not have remembered how much I love nature photography were it not for the enthusiasm of Aislinn and my friend Todd. I don’t know how I could have forgotten.

I feel the same way about my home business now–and I’ve added back a few things that I’ve been passionate about in the past but had set aside due to lack of time and focus elsewhere. I’m now reclaiming those and having a blast.

I’m excited about my home and the decor that I love and that all my guests love. It feels so good to get home every day, not just because I can’t wait to start on my creative passions but because I’m so excited about the atmosphere and serene energy of my home.

My friends and romantic ties are full of excitement for me, too. There’s no ho-hum about seeing someone–I can’t wait!

When I was a trainee in my day job, one of my co-workers had a cartoon of a guy putting tinker toys together. The caption read, “Life is nothing without passion.” Tongue in cheek, yes, but so true. Everything–every hobby, job, art, space, and relationship–should be this exciting, this full of passion.

From the upcoming book, Searching for Serenity: the Spiritual Way to Declutter your Life and Create Sacred Space

I’m intrigued by a Tarot card known as the “Two of Swords.” In most decks, the card features a person holding a sword in each hand, often in a defensive position. The visual often reflects two equal forces in a stalemate situation. The swords are sometimes crossed, suggesting a clash of ideas, words, or motives.

The traditional meanings for the card are struggle, balance, decisions, an impasse, confusion. Some refer to these as putting up barriers to the truth or hoping the truth will go away.

A friend of mine interprets this card in a more positive way that I find beautiful.

“Look at the woman,” she says. “She’s holding a sword in each hand. She’s very good at defending her position, but she’s got her hands full. If something wonderful comes to her, she cannot accept it because her hands are full. To open her hand to something new and wonderful, she must put down one of the swords. She must let go of something first. She must release before she can refocus and accept something new and better.”

During my process of decluttering and re-creating the sacred space I’d lost in my home and life, I thought a lot about that Two of Swords card. I had been like that strong woman, defending my position at all costs, never daring to risk failure by setting down one of my swords. My hands were full, too full. I couldn’t get it all done. I had too many things pulling at me, and I had that constant clash of which to do first and how could I possibly do them all and which would I let fail if I didn’t defend it. It was a constant struggle, strain, and stress.

To move forward in my life and accept newer, happier ways of being and new “gifts” from the Universe, I had to make room in my life. I had to let go…of things that cluttered my life, whether they were physical, emotional, spiritual, or something else. When I was able to release on one level, there was a sudden cascade of release on all levels in a matter of weeks. As I got one level to its simplest form, the others could not stay cluttered. That powerful releasing energy took hold all at once, and I let go, finally, and began very quickly to refocus my energies and my life in a new direction that felt wonderfully free.

The new direction meant taking the newly emptied spaces in my life, not fearing the voids left by releasing, and filling them instead with love and joy, turning them into sacred spaces.

And there, in sacred space, is where serenity lives.

Photo used with permission.

It’s easy to get caught up in everyone else’s world and forget to pamper yourself a little. In fact, pampering yourself can feel downright selfish, even if you did just put in a 100-hour work week. Yet, if you’re trying to maintain or reach a place of balance and happiness, a little self-treasuring can go a long way.

Here’s my personal list:

1. Make time for meditation–20 minutes is plenty. I’ve worked with teachers, coaches, and advisers who’ve said things that made me feel guilty. They’ve chastised me for not taking a hour to meditate and spend that time on myself, and I distinctly remember explaining to one spiritual leader that it took me 30 minutes to get ready for work in the morning because that’s all the time I had when a toddler wasn’t hanging onto me and every time I tried to meditate, I was so exhausted that I fell asleep. I no longer have toddlers demanding my time so I try to catch 20 minutes’ meditation time every day, usually between work and my evening relaxation because it helps to get me focused and out of the “office” mode. Sometimes I simply set a time for 20 minutes, close my eyes, and listen. Who cares if my mind roams? Rejuvenation!

2. Flowers. Fresh flowers. Once a week. I prefer them from my own garden, but it that doesn’t work, a small bouquet from the grocery store is just fine or, even better, a flowering plant that can later join my garden. I love the scent and colors and a few fresh flowers a week add a touch of spring to every day.

3. Nightgowns and lingerie. When I was newly single, I stashed away lingerie for “eventually,” when I was in a relationship again. No more sleeping in T-shirts! Now I choose a different nightgown every night and feel wonderful in it whether I’m in a relationship or not. When unattached women wear crappy clothes to bed when they’d never wear them with a mate, they’re saying they’re not worth the little pleasantries.

4. Satin sheets. I’ve loved satin sheets since college when I splurged on a set of wine-red ones. For a long time, I didn’t have a mate who fancied them. Now, I have them in emerald green, ice cream pink, chocolate brown, shiny gold, and–of course–wine red.

5. A good night’s sleep. This is the hardest for me still. It’s said that every hour of sleep you get before midnight is worth 2 hours. Aim for sleep times that are multiples of 1.5 hours, the typical sleep cycle for the best rest ever.

6. A hot bath. I had to travel a lot when the kids were in pre-school, and I made the most of those hotel stays alone. The rocket scientists who traveled with me were out on the town but not me! I ordered room service and ate uninterrupted, watched TV uninterrupted, and then took a long, hot bath before crawling into bed for uninterrupted sleep. Back home, my one uninterrupted treasure was 30 minutes in the bath a few times a week–and that’s when I caught up on my reading. I still make it a must-have several times a week.

Everyone’s list is different, and even then, it can change from time to time. Your list might include music, incense, candles, pedicures, massages, or a glass of wine. The point is, come up with a short list of little things that feel luxurious to you, that make you feel like you’re selfishly putting yourself first for a change–and then commit to enjoying a few on a regular basis.

If you don’t treat yourself well, why should anyone else?

Today’s Book Spotlight is on Salt and Fire: Cleansing and House Purification Rituals. Lauren Hartford uses a “novel approach” to explaining how to perform a complicated (and possibly dangerous) ritual to cleanse your home. All details are provided in the form of a short novella, covering the materials needed, the actual process, the dangers, safety precautions, helpful hints and tips, possible results, and various considerations that you won’t find in the usual “how-to” book.

As with all of Lauren’s books in her Priestess Diaries series, these novels, novellas, and short stories are “teaching fiction.” They stand alone or can be read as part of a whole if you like the characters Lauren presents.

Salt and Fire is one of the shorter books and can be read easily in one sitting. Even slow readers can finish it within an hour. It’s available only in pdf, so you can download it to your computer or mobile phone. Retail price is $3 – good info, and for the price of a quickie vending machine snack!

Download pdf file now.

Other books by Lauren Hartford focus on protection rituals, hypnosis and guided meditations, the Law of Attraction, and real witch wars, with two upcoming books on listening to your intuition and building inter-dimensional portals.

From the upcoming book, Searching for Serenity: the Spiritual Way to De-Clutter your Life and Create Sacred Space

Create sacred space with altars, consecrated items, and intentions based in Universal Law.

Have you ever been to sacred places where you instantly knew you were on hallowed ground? Maybe it was a visit to Stonehenge or the Glastonbury Tor. Maybe it was an ancient Mayan temple of the sun or even a crop circle in rural England. Maybe it was a two-car garage doubling as a ritual room for a Temple of Isis following. Maybe it was a circle of grass around a firepit in the backyard of a Wiccan High Priestess or a quiet grove frequented by monks. Or maybe it was a stack of rocks once used as an altar by some unknown person of an unknown religion who kept in silent communion with Deity.

In any case, if you’ve visited a holy place, you’ve probably felt something while there. Maybe a quiet serenity or, if you’re a highly sensitive person, a buzzing energy that feels like electrical wires or fire ants on the skin.

What makes a place a space sacred? Two things: intention and practice.

Intention is purely the focus on one spot or in one spot on doing spiritual work there, of any religion. All these intentions, whether Christian, Wiccan, or some other brand of spirituality, are based in the Universal Laws, usually the Law of Attraction and the Law of One, though others may play a part as well. The Law of Attraction is normally the Universal Law that is used in prayer and in magick to bring things and ways of being into the physical realm. Focus, intention, and belief combine to answer prayer or ritual work.

Practice is a matter of doing spiritual work repeatedly in one physical area so that it develops into a sacred space.

For example, if you have a small table that you wish to make into a home altar where you spend a few moments each day to say a morning devotional or a prayer of gratitude, you would first start with consecrating that table for its sacred use. This would be the same as putting forth your intention to use the table as a tool in your worship process. Then, as you use the altar daily or at least regularly, the energy of your prayers and work done there begin to build, giving that altar a feeling of being a sacred space in your home.

How do you know it’s become sacred? Easy. When you walk through your home and note that your partner has left a couple of screws and a screwdriver from a small repair job or the kids have left the afternoon mail on top of your altar and you cringe and get those mundane things off as quickly as possible, well, then you know you’ve created sacred space.

You can also, if you’re a high sensitive person, feel the vibrations of the energy of that altar and know from the “buzzing” feel of it in your hands that it is indeed a sacred space.

The thing about holy ground is that once you recognize it for what it is, you cannot abide anyone defiling it. Several years ago, I watched a documentary about a Wiccan husband and a Christian wife in which the wife gleefully mentioned how she liked to walk through the husband’s backyard circle of stones every chance she got, even though her husband has asked her to respect the circle. He respected her beliefs and did not expect her to change for him, but he did want his own beliefs respected. I found myself thinking that he deserved better in a spouse. Purposely disrespecting his beliefs and defiling his sacred space by kicking over the rocks or ridiculing it was clearly–to me–a sign that she did not respect the man she’d married.

You can make your own holy ground and sacred space in your home and around it, even if you need to keep the hallowed ground a secret from disrespectful family members or prying visitors. All it takes is a little planning, your intention to create a connection to Deity at this very spot, and the steady practice of that connection.

If you’re thinking of creating some sacred spaces, here are a few places to start, including these free articles in the Sacred Spaces category to the right.

My home is just how I like it. It’s serene, different, and…well, something of a refection of myself. I love that the men I socialize with romantically as well as guests who visit once a month for a spiritual or intellectual gathering find my home a sanctuary. They tell me that they arrive at my house carrying the day’s anxieties and leave so relaxed they’re afraid they’ll fall asleep on the way home. For several years now, I’ve referred to my home as “The Three of Cups,” a Tarot reference to harmony and bonding.

I’ve slowly been making the house “mine,” painting the walls in colors I love, bringing in esoteric objects that are personally sacred to me but would make a commercially successful home decorator cringe. Eh, so be it. These things delight me. My latest project has been to re-work the guest bathroom, using sunny yellows and backsplash “tins” in copper (shown at left).

It’s all part of an effort to increase the “vibrations” of my home.

I was first exposed to the idea of home vibrations and house energy about 6 years ago when a spiritual-minded friend reluctantly allowed my negative mate to enter her house–and spent the next 6 months yelling at me for messing her the house energy. She had invited him, yes, but she didn’t expect him to accept the offer. He attended a party there, in an awful mood, but the house energy soon got to him and he relaxed and was having a wonderful time…until someone pointed it out to him. I watched that home’s effect on person after person, and it was one of the few homes where I felt totally at ease kicking off my shoes and walking around barefoot–much like my own guests often do now.

My kids’ friends normally love my home. They want to play with the many geodes and rocks or gaze at the crystal pendants that catch the sunlight in late afternoon. The men I date are usually awed by the replica swords on the walls or the odd layout of certain rooms. The house seems to chase off people who don’t belong–one of my younger teen’s wishy-washy acquaintances is “freaked out” when she walks through the door, but the friends who have been really good for her seem to glow as soon as they cross the threshold. People who aren’t good for us tend to feel threatened the moment they walk in and can’t wait to leave.

There are a few things I’ve done to raise my home’s vibrations, or house energy, and I’m happy to share them with you here:

1. Get rid of as much clutter as possible. Clutter may be just lying there, but energetically, it’s very busy and draining. It pulls your attention away from what’s important.

2. Get rid of as much plastic as possible. Replace with natural fiber, wicker, wood, metal, glass. Flower pots are the worst! Get back to nature and back to what’s natural.

3. Keep negative people out. Instead of inviting over a relative or friend who’s only going to criticize your home or you or anything that takes up space on the planet, perhaps meet this person at a different location, even in their own home. If their home’s energy is loaded with negativity, you can always shower it off but it’s hard to get rid of the negativity that comes into your house on someone else. You can almost see the dust motes of negativity in the air behind them!

4. Fill your home with good experiences. Have positive friends over, and often. Burn your favorite incense. Play your favorite music. Make it a wonderful place to be and somewhere you’re happy to come back to after a day at work.

5. Select items in your home that are “sacred” to you. I have at times had an altar in every room. It’s easy enough to turn a shelf into a place of special memories of your family’s older generations to remind you of your roots and your foundation. Create small nooks that make you smile every time you visit them, no matter your previous mood. I have visited some homes that have a temple room or a prayer room, and the energy in that particular space is exponentially higher than anywhere else in the house. It’s like walking into a vortex of buzzing electricity.

6. This one’s kinda different but I saw this done in the most powerfully positively-charged home I’ve ever visited–another that I don’t think I ever wore shoes in, even from the first visit, because it felt like I was walking on sacred ground. The energy in the house, from the moment you entered, felt like whomp-whomp-whomp around you. I noted this as did as numerous others who attended healing circles there with me. The occupant was a rather charismatic woman who–I am not making this up–honestly believed she was half-alien. Her beliefs had to do with the fact that she’d overcome some terrifying situations in her youth and came to believe that only alien guardians could have kept her from being killed, in much the same way as others attribute rescues to guardian angels. She came to believe that she could not get sick or get hurt, which led to some adrenaline-pumping car rides with her, but she always came out on top in any situation, regardless of whether others got hurt. She was probably the best I have ever seen at manifesting her desires almost instantly. She honored her sacred space and her desires by placing small stone or crystal pyramids on the highest points inside her home. In each room, she had an amethyst, marble, quartz, or even turquoise pyramid set atop a curtain rod holder, a sconce, a lamp, or a window sill. They served as reminders to her that she could have anything in this life that she desired. I didn’t always approve of her methods of getting what she wanted, but she was extremely successful at it.

So try any or all of these 6 ways to raise your home’s vibrations. I don’t doubt that just your intentions to raise them will make some change for the better.
