Oh…if it weren’t so pathetic, it would be funny. I received a message tonight from a girl in Arizona. Or maybe a woman. I’m hoping she’s just very young and ignorant, but the level of gumption makes me shake my head.

On the out-of-date Spilled Candy site, there are articles on Wiccan names that talk about the different names/terms that Wiccans use to refer to themselves. This is just too self-righteous not to share.

Here it is, word for word:

I’m looking for Wiccan names for my cats. I’m a Christian who does not subscribe to Wiccan beliefs but finds the names very interesting. I’m acquiring 2 new kittens next week and want to name one of them Minerva and call her Minnie. The other maybe Matilda, but I was searching for names. When I Googled “Wiccan Names+Female” your website was second on the list. I find this interesting since I can’t find any Wiccan names on your website anywhere.

I believe in Jesus Christ the only Son of God, our Lord, Who lives and reigns by the Holy Spirit. I believe in God the Father Almighty.

I believe that I am not perfect and cannot enter Heaven as an imperfect being. Jesus paid my penalty for imperfection on the cross and made my way to Heaven possible.

That’s what I believe.

Now where are the Wiccan names I asked for?
