Not So Rare

Yep, he found my journal. Spent the day researching me. Read various posts from 2 pages and doesn’t understand:
1. My sense of humor
2. My spirituality
3. My being a mom
4. My books
5. My musical tastes
6. My worldview
7. My sexuality
8. My conflicted feelings over my dad
Keep in mind that he was already aware of 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and maybe 5. I hadn’t mentioned that I’m an author because some men get intimidated by that if they hear about it immediately and I don’t see it as a big deal but it’s embarrassing when people take it that way. And I’d mentioned my dad this week, though not in any great detail.
Oh, I forgot. #9. My house is too big. Not that he asked why I live in such a big house (3667sf, which some consider big and some don’t but the mortgage on it is lower than it would be if I bought a house 1/3 the size, and therefore it makes financial sense).
Given that I don’t see any of the above changing any time soon (though I’m earnestly working on #8), I do believe I’ll be making other plans for the weekend.
As I’ve said before, for me to find someone truly compatible is rare indeed.
