Law of Attraction: Knowledge vs Belief

While reading some rather interesting texts on archeological history, fixed stars, and asteroids, I found myself intrigued with the slow-moving outer planets and their correlation to major life phases. As I’ve said before, whether you believe in astrology or not, it’s all about patterns within the Universe and within ourselves and it’s defined by the symbology of planets, stars, asteroids, and angles. I love the psychological underpinnings of these patterns.

Attract Him Back

An aside by a nameless astrologer really hit home with me. She had been talking about how Jupiter, representing expansion, influences the Eight House (sexuality, occult/hidden knowledge, joint resources, death/rebirth, mysticism). I could readily see that Jupiter in my Eighth House—from around 1 January 2005 to 1 October 2006—coincided with a very expansive time in my life that focused on all these things, more so than at any other time in the last, oh, twelve years.

She also spoke about the Tenth House, which correlates to career and our place in the world. As of yesterday, Jupiter is now in my Tenth House, and I definitely feel the expansion of career, though it will dip back into the Ninth House for most of the summer before returning to the Tenth House for a good, long stay. That’s supposed to mean expansion of my business, increased prosperity, and things like that. I can see that. Easily. I’ve been feeling it for a while, too. It relates to my career transition and my plans for the future and how I’m putting structure into them over the next few months with a very hard focus on getting my career to where I want it to be.

But it’s her comments on the Ninth House that Jupiter has just come through (1 Oct 2006 to 1 February 2007) very quickly and how it will retrograde back into that house for a few important months. The Ninth House is more closely related to knowledge and learning, travel, and foreign people and places. Thinking back, travel and the possibilities of travel in connection with my work came up an awful lot over the last few months of 2006. I had to turn down trips to several places I would have liked to have presented workshops, mainly because of personal issues with my family and needing to be close to home. I had some interesting and enlightening interactions with people from other countries, almost all enjoyable. But knowledge?

My metaphysical knowledge seemed to expand most while Jupiter was in the Eighth House, and I didn’t really feel I’d learned anything new while it was in the Ninth House. Then again….

I’ve known about the Law of Attraction for years, used it (often in the wrong way) for years, but I didn’t really get a grip on how it works until October. From October through January, I’ve really been honing the process as it works for me. Not that I’ve mastered it, but at least now I understand how to and I’m actively practicing it.

This nameless astrologer said to me that while Jupiter was in my Ninth House and when it’s there again this summer, my knowledge—my knowing—and its importance in my life will be expanded. It is an important time for no longer just believing something but replacing believe with know. (I’m a Pisces, and we believe, yet I have tons of Aquarian planets, and an Aquarius’ motto is “I know.”)

I’ve noted that I can believe something all I want, but the instant I actually know it, that’s when it manifests, and very quickly. It’s like something that just suddenly clicks into place and I know—totally, completely, without a doubt know—that something is. And that’s when something manifests on the physical plane.

I wonder what will be so important this summer that knowing will play such a big part again.
