Last night, a long-standing and deep friendship ended with a person in my life I thought to be like family. This person took it upon themselves to provide me with not only, unsolicited advice, but dumped on me an adlib personality analysis and deconstruction.

I have been extremely bewildered at this person’s aptitude for insult, hypocrisy and misguided accusations. I was completely shattered to realise that this person never understood me or where I am in life.

I wholeheartedly thank you for enabling me to move on with my life, and arming me with the tools to deal with the ever-present shards of unsolicited advice I know are coming my way as result of this breakup.
